The Bridal Lounge of York is a city centre bridal shop in York.  We have over 150 bridal gowns in stock and have a special selection of dresses for less traditional ceremonies and for weddings abroad.  We specialise in Ready to Wear bridal gowns, which means if you have just a few months before your wedding day and are still looking for your perfect dress, we would be delighted to try and help you.

We offer late night and Sunday appointments.  During shop opening times, an appointment is not always necessary but it is advised, to be sure one of the dressing rooms is available.

Gowns UK is in Leeds and carries bridal designs by Amanda Wyatt, Benjamin Roberts, Blue by Enzoani, Constantina, Imogene, Ronald Joyce, Tia by Benjamin Roberts, Trudy Lee amongst others.  We have a large selection of samples for you to choose your special gown for that special day.

 We also have a large selection of sale gowns which are constantly updated asour new stock arrives for the new seasons.

Our large selection of bridesmaids and flowergirl designs include Love by Enzoani, Raylia Designs, D'Zage, Linzi Jay, Honour, Jade Daniels and theSweetie Pie Collection. 

Bridal accessories include veils, tiaras and jewellery together with shoesby Rainbow, Pink, Belle and Benjamin Adams. 

Our special occasions and prom dress ranges include Love by Enzoani, Flirt,Joli, Night Moves, Ruby Prom and other designs from America and Europe.

Clients can expect a one-to-one service by appointment, whether through the week, evenings and daytime, or at weekends, and Lynda’s advice and expertise with colours and fabrics will certainly be an asset to any Bride! 

‘Forevermore’ also offers an excellent range of Bridesmaid dresses, to suit all ages and tastes, and again individually made to measure.   Beautiful fabrics to choose from, as well as a large selection of colours.   

To complement the Bridalwear, there is an extensive collection of Tiaras, Veils, Jewellery, Handbags, and Shoes.  The shoes can be made with anything from  a 1 inch to a 5 inch heel and also with a choice of heel shapes -   stunning designs to choose from, as well as many colours too.  Handbags can be colour co-ordinated also.

You can choose from any of our collection or you are welcome to design your own dress or incorporate some ideas of your own if you so wish. We have a choice of silks & fabrics from which you can choose. We will guide you to the right choice of fabric for whatever style you choose. 

Our entire range of Tiara’s, headpieces & jewellery are hand crafted by ourselves, enabling you to co-ordinate with your dress or outfit. There are a wide range of coloured stones & pearls from which you can choose. You can match any of these with a veil if you so wish. 

A payment plan can be provided to help you spread the cost. Our aim is to give each bride our best attention throughout her time with us & she will enjoy a special experience with us.

Opening hours accommodate modern working schedules, including Sundays and late nights on Thursday. Closed only on Wednesday.
